Megabillionaire Elon Musk made a frank announcement about his voting plans in a Monday interview, revealing that he intends to divert from his usual partisan preferences. Musk is planning on voting for a Republican for the first time. “I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, historically,” Musk said of his voting history. “Like, I’m not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear,” the technologist continued. “Now this election, I will.” Musk was speaking virtually at a technology conference hosted by the “All-In” podcast in Miami. During a presentation to woo investors, Elon Musk laid out his plans for what actions he intends on implementing when he takes over Twitter. Musk reportedly told investors that he would clean house at Twitter, but then go on a hiring spree. The Tesla CEO also assured investors that he would quintuple revenue on the social media platform within a few years and launch a new mystery product named “X,” according to a new report. Musk reportedly told financial backers that he would quintuple Twitter’s annual revenue from $5 billion in 2021 to a whopping $26.4 billion by 2028. The New York Times reported, “Twitter would bring in $15 million from a payments business in 2023, according to the document, which would grow to about $1.3 billion by 2028.” Musk allegedly wants to rely on advertising far less – dropping from roughly 90% of total revenue in 2020 to about 45% of total revenue derived from advertising. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) is introducing a bill that would strip the Walt Disney Co. of its special copyright privileges, imperiling the company’s control over valuable intellectual property that could include Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. The Copyright Clause Restoration Act would limit new copyright protections to 56 years and make the change retroactive for major corporations like Disney that have been granted unusually long copyright monopolies. “The age of Republican handouts to Big Business is over,” Sen. Hawley said in an announcement of the bill on Tuesday. “Thanks to special copyright protections from Congress, woke corporations like Disney have earned billions while increasingly pandering to woke activists. Elon Musk  is planning to fire 1,000 staffers at Twitter as soon as his purchase of the social media platform is complete. It’s believed he will fire many of the firm’s woke staff following the transfer of ownership which will take around six months, after which Musk is likely to wield the ax.  But then within the next three years, Musk anticipates making thousands of new hires, swelling the ranks to around 11,000 employees, up from 7,500 currently. Much of the new talent is likely to be in the field of engineering.  Numbers at the company would fluctuate rising to 9,225 employees this year before falling to 8,332 in 2023. President Joe Biden and his administration have attempted to convince Americans that electric vehicles will solve all of our problems, but a new study found one leftist city was vastly unprepared for a complete switch to electric vehicles. The study was led by retired University of California, Berkeley, bioengineering professor David Rempel working with volunteers from the nonprofit organization Cool the Earth, according to Fox Business . It took place between Feb. 12 and March 7. Researchers cited multiple complaints from electric vehicle owners about charging stations in the area as the motivation for the study. It assessed 657 electric vehicle charging plugs at 181 public stations in nine counties around the deep-blue, Democrat-dominated San Francisco Bay Area.
